Butter Crème: Traditional frosting; very sweet, firm texture. Vanilla and chocolate flavored.  May be required in the building of 3D cakes. Does not need refrigeration (unless you have fresh fruit in the cake.)

Whipped Icing: Non-dairy mildly sweet taste.   Vanilla or Chocolate consistency of a firm whipped cream.  Does not need refrigeration (Unless you have fresh fruit in the cake.)

Fondant: offers a smooth clean look to cake decorations and 3D cakes. Our brand is marshmallow based and tastes nice.  Fondant is always placed over the butter crème frosting. There is an additional cost for fondant frosting. But it gives the cake an elegant finish.
Most cakes in the magazines are fondant.
